of course orange, this is the American Conklin est 1898, pen( Mark Twain used a Conklin) one of my favorites with Noodler’s ink, Conklin doesn’t have their own ink…my orange delight. It is called Herringbone. To what you may think it was only 23 dollars and postage, but it goes for 120. That was on Ebay two years ago. It is a great old company with not well know name,

What kind of nib?

I am sitting here writing with grey ink, Sheaffer, why does it have to be black. It is a black Sheaffer Balance. I always believed a goldplated nib writes better than not, it is not there for only looks? what do other fountain pen people think?

I seldom buy pens stopped in 2000, but I got this Conklin Herringbone, orange(love orange).Conklin was loved by Mark Twain. It is just incredible! I have green Noodler’s ink in it that is how I do my writing.

happy that some people are so different!

One time I lived in the back of the Townhouses, and the person in the front was a nasty bearded fat man that looked 50 but was unbelievably 18. I dropped my very expensive German Pelican 400 pen three days ago in front of the walkway and he passed through there and never noticed it. That wasn’t his personality, to like that! I was so happy it wasn’t for I would have lost my little treasure I still happily own.
